Tricycle for 2 YO?

Stella turns 2 on Sept. 4th and we are thinking of getting her a trike for her b-day.  Does anyone have the Radio Flyer Classic Trike (see link)?  If so, will a 2 yo be able to actually ride it?  I'd hate to get it and find it's too big or that she can't maneuver it.

My Mom got her a trike for her 2nd bday (Radio Flyer pink and purple) and she can't quite figure out how to pedal.  But she does like to get on it and sit when we are outside.  I think it just takes a little bit for them to figure it out.  She loves her "bike" though!

Aaron got a trike over a year ago and he still has trouble pedaling and he's 2.5.  He can pedal if we give him a little push to get started.  I think the pedaling for himself is close, just not totally there yet.  

But, maybe girls "get it" faster...I don't know.

Hqyden got a trike for his b-day ad loves it. He can't petals yert but moves it by walking it with his feet.

The boys have trikes but dont know how to pedal.  It is so hard to teach them how to!  They scoot around - pretty quickly - so they dont want to learn how to pedal.  I would say go for it bc even if she is too young - she will eventually grown into it.  We got them for their 1st bday - way too early but I was really glad to have them once the warm weather showed up this spring.

We got Reed a Kettler tricycle.  It was expensive but Tommy really wanted it!  And I am glad we went for it.  The seat is adjustable so you can sit your LO closer to the pedals and then move it back as they grow.  It also has a seat belt, push bar, hand brake.  You can buy an accessory that is basically a platform that they can put their feet on if you want to just push them around on it, and not have their feet get stuck in the wheel/pedals.

Reed has had it since he was 1.  He can now pedal and steer!  One of my close friends got a Kettler and her daughter used it until she was almost 5.

Oh, and it has rubber wheels that are quiet:)

DS got one for his first birthday and has JUST started to sit on it and put his feet on the pedals.  He doesn't "get" how to make it go forward/backward yet.  This one has a push bar so I push him around on it and he keeps his feet on the pedals (sometimes) so hopefully it will click soon.  If you get one, I'd recommend trying to find one that has a push handle (that can eventually be removed) to help get more use out of it until they know how to make it work.

I still have the handle on the back and still push him with it.  I'm not sure how he'd do on his own.
