had the NT scan today.

both babies are still there with h/b of 160 and 154. baby b has the lower h/b but was really, really busy moving his whole body around. we couldnt tell the sex yet, but we also couldnt see any obvious ONTD on either baby. if it was anything like the last time, it would have been very obvious and hard to miss. hopefully these babies are healthy!

i went alone since dh couldnt reschedule his mtgs again. i had the same genetics counselor as with my previous loss and i wanted to vomit all over her. the tears were near, but the nausea was almost unbearable. it was a hard appt. anxiety does not help nausea. then the u/s and a text mssg from a dear friend made the tears come. i'm 11 wks, 5 days, but they're saying saying i'm 12wks since my due date is 12/8th. it's not a huge deal right now i suppose. still not sharing the news until my AFP test in about 3-4 weeks, but i gave dh the okay to share if he wants to.

Glad you had a good scan and heard the heartbeat for both babies. Sorry about all of the nausea during your appt though!

thanks ladies. still taking it one day at a time and praying for a "good news" phone call in a week or so. i asked the genetics counselor to either leave the information/news on my voice mail, or leave nothing at all (if i dont answer when they call) and then call me back. i would go crazy not knowing and having a hard time reaching them if i had to call them back.
