Help a girl out! Please

My husband and I want to go on a date this weekend before the new baby comes. We are thinking of doing the Melting Pot or The Met. I have been to the Met and it was devine! But never have been to the Melting Pot.

We have looked all over to do somethin after but can not come up with something.

The band playing at Jazz Alley is not our cup of tea. No good comedy around this weekend except for in Tacoma and we have already seen him twice. Would rather do something more fun than a movie!

What should we do? Help me out please!

  • I have no suggestion where to go after but I wanted to let you know that Brian and I went to the melting pot a couple weeks ago for the first time and loved it!!!!

but the meal is like a 3 hour long meal so prepare for that. I was so tired afterwards that I would not have wantedt o go anywhere else unless it was a really, really early dinner time.

  • You could do something like Thearto Zinzani which is dinner and a show together. The dinner is good not as good as The Met or The Melting Pot but is includes the show which is fun.  Or you could head over to Chopstix after dinner at the Melting Pot they are close and that is fun.

  • The Melting Pot is yummy tasty but like the pp said it's a 3 hour dinner and you'll probably be in such a food coma you won't want to do anything else.

My first thought was Teatro Zinzani. I haven't been myself but everyone I know loved it.

  • We loved Teatro Zinzanni... so fun!

You could also do dinner and go see a musical at the 5th, or a play at Act, Paramount, Seattle Rep, any of those that might be playing something you think would be fun to see.

  • I big puffy HEART the Melting Pot...but like PPers said, you'll be so stuffed you won't want to do anything.

So, I vote for the Met (also lovely) and a trip to the theater!

  • I vote for the Melting Pot, especially the one in Queen Ann and maybe a movie.

I am attending a bachelorette party at Chopstix on Sat night, so if you stop by there will be some craziness.  :-)
