nbr: carpet cleaners?

our construction is done and we just got back from vacation last night. i'm ready to clean house!!

any carpet cleaner recommendations?

I don't rec s t an le y ste am er at all.  They don't do a great job, are expensive, and the whole time they are there they try to sell you more crap you don't need.  I haven't found a carpet cleaner that I actually like yet.

I've used che m dry before and didn't have any issues.

I used them after 4 years in our house and our carpets looked almost new. and our carpets are light beige so that's very hard to do. We plan to use them again every year or two.
