DH's friend figured us out!

So last night DH's friend and his wife came over for a grill-out.  (We get together with them at least once a week, usually at our bar/pub down the road or at our house). 

Well when they were outside grilling he asked DH if everything is OK since I haven't been drinking with them for quite a while.  DH said yes, everything was OK, then he asked, so everything is "OK"? and made a big gesture over his belly.  LOL.  DH nodded and said yes, but not to spread the word, since our lost we are keeping it hush hush for a while. 

Haha, I knew he would catch on sooner or later.

Oops! I have a hard time lying, so I probably would have done the same thing. But at least it's a close friend, that makes it better

Aww, it sounds like you have some great friends that will be an excellent support system for you.  It's scary for others to know, but it's also kind of nice because you know that they will be thinking about you and praying for a healthy baby and pregnancy.

lol, i miss not drinking wine!!!  i brought some wine back from my paris trip and we will use it to celebrate the healthy pg when we reach the 3rd trimester. i cant wait to have that glass... i will savour it!!!

It's hard to hide not drinking with observant friends!  I went to a wedding and had the bartender pour O'Douls in a glass so if anyone asked what I was having, I could say "a beer".

Thanks ladies.  I had actually given DH permission to tell this one friend (I told my PA friend 'cuz I had some questions about the heart rate, etc) .  We were going to tell him when we went out the night before but he had another friend with and I didn'tt want the other friend to know.  I'm not upset he figured it out.. if I would have been DH would have lied; lol.  But we are officaily out to 3 people now!
