They leaked terribly, the velcro was junk and the covers weren't waterproof. You have to deal with snapping in liners and the little tabs are fiddly and annoying.
I switched from them to prefold diapers (Green mountain diapers' Clotheez brand), folded into thirds and laid inside a Thirsties cover. Same idea, but actually worked.
I also really love my Bumgenius 4.0 pockets. They're bulletproof for us.

I didn't like them because poop would leak over the insert and on to the cover - as soon as that happened you need a new cover. For the nb stage I much preferred KL0s and covers. I also have a few Under the Nile fitteds that I loved but I don't think they make them any more.
Too many parts, fell apart in the first few washes, leaked. I still use the cloth inserts, tho. They work well in my other covers. Love my BGs. They've never disappointed me.
