I hope everyone is staying safe in these storms.  Ash, I saw that you made it safely to your mom's house.  I'm so glad!  We had rain but not much else.  Looks like to the north and south of us there was lots of huge hail.  Dallas is still getting pounded by hail and possible tornadoes.  Yikes!  Everybody stay safe!

We got hail (here in Dallas), but seem to have missed some of the really big stuff, thankfully.  However, another band is coming.  Joy.  Glad y'all are alright.

Yikes!  Yes, it looks like Dallas is getting the worst of it.  Stay safe!

I think that's the second band hitting you.  Finfrock said that the band is a long line, which typically means no tornadoes.  Stay safe.

Thanks!  The news said we were in the clear for tornadoes, so I didn't pay much attention.  Now it's storming much worse than before.  The power is flickering now too.

That band is hitting us now.  It's really just heavy rain here, but heavy enough to knock out the satellite.  I'm hoping you don't lose power!  I'm off to bed (with an ear open for any sirens).  G'night.

Thankful so far it has missed us. It got my daddy and stepmoms but they are okay.

I'm in south Irving, seems like everything has passed us...Finfrock (or rather the newbie that he's coaching through this mess) said that there may still be thunderstorms but he didn't think we needed to worry about tornadoes anymore.

Hi ambs!! Yes we did make it safely to my moms house. We went to the safe room and the tornado went right over her house with no damage which is good! My hubby ran to our house to check on it. It was good no damage. We did have a tornado touch down about 2 miles from our house. Im going to try and get some pictures this morning when the sun comes up.

I am glad that your family is safe and glad that your mom's house is not damaged.  I hope that neighbors are safe as well!  We need some good weather down there, not these crazy, disasterous storms!
