What do you clean with?

I have been trying to use mostly green products to clean.  But when we cook, I don't always feel like they kill everything.  Today I busted out the Lysol to clean the kitchen counters after we cooked chicken.  I haven't used it since I got pregnant and it smells so strong.  I don't think I will be using it anymore.  What do you use to clean?

i use " all natural" cleaner not much smell but works just as good

I found a company that uses all natural/safe products that I order all my cleaning and household items from.  I switched over when we were ttc.

Method natural brand cleaning products or Green Works for the bathrooms, and a natural apple kitchen cleaner for the counters. If I have raw chicken or something on the counters though I will clean with soap and water just to be sure I killed everything. Vinegar and water is a natural disinfectant, and I think I will use that to disinfect all the baby toys.

Simple Green.  That's "green", right?    Clorox also makes a green cleaner that I use and that doesn't kill me with the smell.

I mainly use Method products.  I do always have a bottle of a strong disinfectant on hand in case I do something like drop a piece of raw chicken.  Method does make a new antibacterial cleaner that uses thyme oil, I might pick that up next time I'm in the store.

We use Melaluca products- expensive but safe and they work really well. I really love them and will definitely continue once LO is here. The melaluca oil is tea tree oil so it disinfects.

So, can I ask a question? I use Clorox Clean up and 409. Should I use something more green? Could this hurt something? I do notice that I can only smell bleach when I'm outside the house after a good solid cleaning. Could that be hurting my nose?

This.  Vinegar and water to clean and disinfect but also a baking soda and water paste when you need a little scrubbing power.

Fantastik is my favorite but I've moved to mostly just using alcohol. Its the best disinfectant.  For just general cleaning soap and water is sufficient.
