2ww-ing

We tried naturally this cycle, one last time before we start IUI. I did green tea, herbs, pomegranite juice and vitamins everyday. Accupunture once a week (not cheap). No alcohol. Lots of rest and relaxation so I wouldn't stress. And DH and I even started working out together, taking it slowly for now.

I never got a +OPK. But I was busy at work and forgot to test one day, so I think I just missed it. I usually ovulate on my own around CD14.

Somehow I'm not stressed out at all this cycle. All that clean living and accupuncture has put my head in a better place. And taking a break last cycle and having fun helped, too.

Plus, I feel like I have a plan in place for the next cycle with IUI, so I'm actually not going to sweat this one. I hope it happens, but I'm not going to get panicky.

Me = 38, Husband = 31. TTC since 1/10. M/C at 8 wks 5/10. Started trying again 9/10. All tests normal: AMH/MIS, FSH, HSG, SA. Estradoil high. 6/20/11 - Clomid+Ovidrel+IUI#1=BFN. 7/17/11 - Clomid+IUI#2=BFN. 2 natural cycles = BFN. 10/6/11 - Clomid+Ovidrel+IUI#3=BFN. 10/31/11 - Clomid+Ovidrel+IUI#4 = BFN. 11/26/11 - Follistim+Ovidrel+IUI#5 = BFN. IVF#1 - Menopur+Follistim. 2 ET 5/11/12 = BFN.

    I agree the clean living really does feel good.  Way to keep stress free!  TTC can drive you crazy.

    Good luck!!  Sounds like you've got a good plan going.  There are several of us in the 2WW now.  When are you planning to test?

    I keep thinking about starting acupuncture, but I never seem to get around to making the call...  How did you decide where to go?

    I live in NYC, so I did some research on accupunturists who specailize in infertility here. I'm going to the practice of Jill Blakeaway, one of the co-authors of "Making Babies". I'm not seeing her, but their staff focuses on IF.

    I won't test until June 7th or 8th.

    This is my first post - I'm happy to be here and have others to talk to with the same things going on.  :)

     I am in the 2ww also, was told to test on June 9th.  I don't know if I can wait that long...  Confused

     I'm 39 and so is my husband.  We've been TTC unofficially for 11 years (!) but officially as in charting, doc visits, treatments, etc. for probably 3?  We just had our first IUI and I am so excited. . . Want to be one of those lucky ones who gets it on their first go at it.
