....when you have (or if you've already had it, HAD) your first OB appointment?

 So many people here don't have appointments until they are 12 weeks along...I already had an appointment with my OB scheduled before I found out that I was pregnant, but I will be over 14 weeks by then, and really, really hope that I can get in sooner!

i will be 7w3d. i'm going early because my doctor's is an hour away, and i'll be there coming back from vacation anyways, other wise, i would have went at 8w exactly.

over 14 weeks before the first appointment seems way too long to wait to me.

I had my ultrasound already to confirm the pregnancy, but my first "official" OB appt is not until 12 weeks.

I had my first appt/u/s at 5 w 1 day, then another at 5 w 6 days, then another at 6 w 5 d. I have my next one at 8 w 6 days. 

I also had bleeding, and he wanted to be sure it was progressing along.

I am having my second ultrasound tomorrow at the RE at 5w4days. I had called my OB when I found out I was pregnant and they scheduled my first appointment with them for June 13th which would make me around 8w2days

I went in for a pregnancy test at about 4 weeks, but that was just with my NP.  I go for my first "New OB" visit this thursday, which would make me 6 4/7 weeks.  I do not think that I will be getting an u/s at that appointment...I am guessing my first one will be between 10-13 weeks for the NT screen.

Are you seeing a new OB?  That does seem kinda late.

i had my first at 6w2d..YESTERDAy as matter of fact, but won't have an US til 11wks end of June

My first appt and u/s was at 5 weeks 6 days... altho I thought I was more like 7 weeks. It everything went according to plan that I was supposed to see her again 4-6 weeks later. As of now, I just had an appt today at 6 weeks 5 days and have another one next week as well.

Because of fertility issues I am currently with a RE so I was 5w,4d at my first u/s.  I had betas done before that.  I had my second u/s at 5w,6d and I have my third u/s tomorrow at 7w,4d.

I am hoping I will get released to my OB after tomorrow's appt.

My nurse consult will be next tuesday. They schedule them 6-8w past LMP. Then 2 weeks afetr that I see my OB for the first time. Hoping to get a dating u/s too, but not sure when they'll do that.

I had my first appointment today at 5 weeks 2 days. And will have my first ultrasound on June 2 at 6 weeks 4 days. But I have factor V lieden blood clotting disorder so my pregnancy is considered high risk and has to be monitored closely.

My first OB appointment will be at 9w1d, but I've already had 2 u/s with my RE.

My first appointment was supposed to be at 6w5d, but I got bumped and will be out of town for when they could reschedule.  So now I'll be 8wk4d.  I was very much looking forward to seeing my LO on u/s.  I guess I'll be able to see a bit more at the later date.  14wks does seem awfully late for the first appointment.  Did they say why the delay? Most of us will have at least had 2 visits by then.

I'm not sure..right now they are monitoring my progesterone levels so I'm there pretty much every 2 days having bloodwork done (good side is they also do betas so I've had 3 betas done and all rising very well )  but we haven't even discussed my first real appointment yet.

6w3d.  I'm starting to wonder if that is too early?  I didn't go until 8w3d last time and we had stopped developing around 6w3d so I'm very anxious to get in.

My first appointment was supposed be on 6/2, when I'd be just past 8w.  However, I had some spotting and cramping a couple weeks ago so I had an u/s at 4w6d and I'm going back tomorrow at 7w0d for another u/s and an appointment with the doctor just to follow up.

I was 5 weeks 5 days when I had my first OB appointment.  I ovulated wayyy late due to getting off of BC in January, and based on my LMP I should have been 12 weeks.  After 3 rounds of blood work that showed my numbers were going up like they should, the doctor decided to go ahead and schedule a t/v ultrasound to make sure everything looked okay.

My first appt isn't until 6/6.  I'll be 8 weeks exactly.

My first appointment was yesterday at 6w2d. That is just when they scheduled my appointment base on the dates I gave them. The other office I was contemplating said 8 weeks and no less so I was surprised when my office told me to come in so early. I have been with this office for 5 years and they pretty much have all my information so its not like I was a completely new patient there.

I've never had a doctor see me before 8 weeks, usually between 8-12 weeks. I haven't even called my midwife yet.

I will be 8 weeks.6 day.  My OB does not want to see you till you are 8 to 9 weeks along.

I have my first appointment scheduled for June 23, and I should be 8w1d.

I ended up being seen at only 6 weeks. Based on my last LMP the OB's office thought I was 8 weeks. Based on when Fertility Friend told me I ovulated I thought 7 weeks. Based on the second date I thought I might have ovulated which ended up being the right one (confirmed with u/s) I was only 6 weeks. My next appointment I will be a day shy of 10 weeks. Whew, that was complicated.
