Well little girl looks awesome.....everything wheree it needs to be! Labs are all still looking great! Me, not so great. Was sent for an u/s of my kidneys and not only do I have stones but one kidney is slightly blocked. So here I sit waiting for my urologist to give me a game plan. It hurts and is getting worse. I have had stones before but never this bad.......I know the possible outcomes and my worst fear is I may end up on my own OR table with the docs I work with everyday..... if its bad enough I will get a tube in my kidney to drain the urine. Bleh!!!!!

I'm glad the anatomy scan went well!  Hopefully you get a good plan worked out for the kidney problem.  Sorry you are going through that.

As for the kidney stones - I'm right there with you.  Just last tuesday I was diagnosed with 2 huge ones in my right kidney and 3 in my left... I also ended up peeing blood as I passed what they assumed was a nice sharp one   It was a scary week.

I'm also supposed to keep track of my pain levels because they suspect I could have a partially blocked ureter that could turn total blockage at anytime -- this would of course lead me down the same 'pee bag' road you mentioned.

Right now they have me on a medicine called 'FlowMax' that was created for men with swollen prostates but apparently its helpful in women as well for relaxing the urine system and allowing stones to pass - what a joy.

GL to you - I hope your're just 'under watch' and not carrying around a pee bag!

I?m glad things are good with your little girl, sorry they are not so good for you. I hope they are able to figure out a good plan so that you are not in any more pain!

I'm so glad Kennedy is looking good and I am so sorry about the kidney stones.  I hope the urologist can come up with a plan that doesn't involve surgery and is minimally painful.  ((Big HUGS))

So glad your little girl looks great, but I am SO sorry you are dealing with kidney stones!  I have never had them, but one of my best friends gets them frequently and I know how much pain they cause her.  I hope you are able to find some relief soon and that you can manage them with the least invasive options.  Feel better soon!  ((hugs))

I just sign on from the internet, but it does get a little tricky when you have to edit things, so thats why throw in the droid warning.....

Congrats on a great scan!!!  I am so happy that Kennedy is doing well in there.

I am so sorry though, about the blocked kidney and kidney stones.  Update us when you can, I hope that you don't have to have surgery for that!
