This stuff stinks like ass!!  And yes ass is the technical term.  It's even worse when it comes back up!  Just had to get that off my chest. I don't know how LO is able to drink this crap.

It's worse then Nutramigen even. We just switched and DS took it look a trooper. Poor little guy. At 6 months we are going to test to see if we can switch him off of it.

I always felt so bad for my infant patients that had to be on Alimentum or Nutramigen.  When I was a dietetic intern, I had to taste-taste all the baby formulas and I could barely choke down a sip of those formulas.  The only worse-tasting formulas are the amino-acid based ones like Neocate and Elecare.  Poor babies!

imo, the enfamil nutrimigen is MUCH worse. smells like cat food.

I think the RTF Alimentum smells marginally better than the powder. However, with time, you get used to it. DD has been on Alimentum now for almost 5 months, and I don't think it stinks anymore.

It makes the gas smell terrible too, has anyone else noticed that?
