I was just wondering if anyone on here has delivered at Tripler Army Medical Center.  I've been going there through my pregnancy but i'm just wondering how anyone's birth experience was.  Thanks

Hi, I'm new to the message board.   We just moved to Oahu 2 months ago.  I will be delivering at Tripler very soon...DD is 6/28.  A dear friend delivered at Tripler at the beginning of May and had a good experience.  She was even lucky enough that her doctor was on-call that evening and was able to deliver her baby.  So far, both her and I have always been able to get appointments with our doctor so our care has been consistent.  Have you done any of the tours or classes at Tripler?

Hi! i deliverd my son there 3 years ago through the mid wife program. the staff was amazing. i had a very comfortable and big labor room and my well baby mom room was by myself . i did the breast feeding class and the tour there too. you just go up to the ob gyn in tripler and ask to schedule your classes and tours.

i had a great experience there. i deliverd with a mid wife. the staff is really nice and they help you with feeding diapering anything that you may need help with.
