Trying to Get Pregnant

Thyrosol

Do any of you ladies here take Thyrosol by Metagenics or any other natural thyroid support formula?  My Acupuncturist recommended I start taking it when I went in this week for treatment.  I was wondering if any of you had experience with this?

Re: Thyrosol

  • Hmm...I take meds because I have mild hypothyroidism; I'd be hesitant to do anything that alters my thyroid levels without knowing what they are with a blood test.

This. Coming from someone with Thyroid Cancer, I would agree. Don't mess with your thyroid.

This.  I would think it also goes without saying to ask someone when MD behind their name over jumping to do something suggested by someone who just sticks you with needles.

I had my thyroid levels checked a few months ago and everything came back in the normal range.  It was on the higher side of normal but still in the normal range.  Thyrosol has mostly natural ingriedients (vitaminan A, E, D, Riboflavin, Niacin, Iodine, Zinc, and Rosemary Leaf Extract) but I think I will talk to my doctor before taking this.  Thanks

  • I'm on Synthriod and have been on it since i was 21 (29) now.  I don't do anything without consulting my endocrinologist.  Just my opinion.
