Can I store my pump in the attic?

Might be a stupid ?. Honestly, I'd rather take a baseball bat to it right now, but thinking that I might need it again in the future... Will the heat hurt it?

Hmm;  I don't think I would, just to be safe.  Right now I have ours stored in DD's room on the top shelf of her closet.
