DD is a really, really good baby. I've finally figured out her little daily routine and I'm getting her down for regular naps which has made getting her to bed at night so much easier and she's sleeping a regular 6-7 hours straight at night. She's so in awe of the world around her, it makes me smile just to watch her figuring things out. We took her to our friend's going away party on Sunday and she was charming everyone with her smile and she was just so darn cute, we didn't even mind that we were the lame ones who had to leave early so we could put her to bed. I'm FINALLY feeling healthy and normal for the first time in months. Anyway, I know it could all go awry tomorrow or even tonight, but I'm going to enjoy this moment of mommyhood today. Now, everyone bring me back to earth and warn me about the nights of endless wakings because of teething, the temper tantrums down the road, and whatever else.
Re: AW: I don't want to jinx this, but...
Yay! I'm glad you're in a good place now. There are always ups and downs, but the ups are really great!
This exactly! Enjoy the good moments; you'll remember them much longer than the not-so-good ones.
Ditto this. Love those feel good days!
that's awesome!
Hell no! Enjoy this while you can. Glad things are going so well for you!
meh, I feel like when you've hit your "mommy stride" that the teething & bad days are easier to handle. Then again, I haven't been a mom for a year yet.
enjoy it!
