thoughts on our baby name picks?!

We are TTC #2, our 1st son's name is Jude Ryan Stock. Here are they names we are considering for this baby...

 

Boy:

Canaan Joseph Stock (KAY-nen)

Girl:

Cambria Elizabeth Stock (CAM-brie-ah)

Canaan is one of my favorite names.

I don't care for Cambria - I do like Camille.

Canaan is cool! However just a heads up that a he will likely have spelling and pronounciation probs from other people. But hey, at least it will be due to their lack of knowledge.

Cambria is Ok. It was a street name where I grew up, so I dont really think of it as a name.

I have a friend named Cambria and so I've always had a fondness for this name. Love it paired with Elizabeth.

I really like them both! I actually tried talking DH into naming DS Canaan, but he wouldn't budge...so he's Kane I like Cambria too...it's different without sounding weird or nauseatingly trendy.

They are both okay, I am not opposed to them ...they're just not my style.  Jude, however, I love that name!

There's an alt rock band called Coheed & Cambria, so I would associate Cambria with being masculine. Not a fan of Canaan. Wasn't that an ancient biblical land? NMS, but everyone else seems to like Cambria.

 I cannot believe people don't know how to pronounce Canaan....but I don't like it or Cambria. Your middle names are great.

You are right, the band is one of my favorites. All the songs are about Coheed (a man) and Cambira (a woman) 

 

Canaan is a person in the bible as well as a land...The land of Canaan.

For me, Canaan is too close to canine. But it's still a nice name. Cambria is fine though NMS.

Exactly. Canaan makes me think of canine and Cambria...well that's a not so nice street in my area.
