The board is super quiet today! I am guessing lots of ladies are still without power and computers?

We were lucky and never lost power, but my parents are still in the dark.

We were without power from 7 until just after midnight. Got a call from daycare in Blue Ash at 6:00 this morning that they were without power, but it came back on around 8.

We've been really lucky with power this season, but when we were driving home from kroger we saw the transformer box on the power lines blow as we drove past.

Wow, according to Duke's website, there are still 20,000 without power.

Lucky for us, we didn't lose power. Whew!  Those winds were crazy though last night, I bet H that we would lose power...he won that bet

We are still without power...but I'm at work.  According to Duke's automated message our estimated time for having power is Thursday at NOON!  Crazy.

We did not lose power thankfully.  However, my cousin is another "lucky" one like escape1st and she is not projected to get power back until Thursday morning.  She has lost hundreds of dollars of food.  This is giving me flashbacks back to the windstorm where we were one of the last houses to get our power back and lost a crapton of food.

We have power- never lost it.  If anyone needs to borrow a cooler to help keep food let me know.  We have an extra one that we can lend out.

We were lucky, our power never so much as flickered.  Tom and I always joke that someone really important must live on the same power grid that we do, because it NEVER goes out.  I've lived here 8 years and it's only gone out twice!

......and now, I've sufficiently jinxed myself and it will go off tonight for days just because I was gloating.

We are still without power and Duke can't tell us when it will be back on.  They were looking at the line earlier so I'm hoping it will be fixed sometime today.  I am at my mom's house cooking the crap out of some meat.  Fun times.

Still no power for us also.  We may end up spending the night at my mom & dad's if it isn't on by 7 tonight.  Hope both of us have power soon!

We were lucky.  Ours was only out from about 7pm-midnight.  The storms weren't very bad up this way so we didn't even head to the basement.  I suppose the plus side is that we were so bored in the dark that the whole family was in bed asleep by 9:30.
