Hi ladies! We were in Fredericksburg this weekend and drove back to Philly on Sunday. On the drive back Brooks needed some pitstops where he could stretch his legs. Do y'all have any suggestions from Baltimore south and in both directions if it matters. Chick fil a is great for him but not an option on Sundays. Thanks a bunch.

Re: Traveling I-95 and nerd stops
national habor - last stop on 95 before crossing the woodrow wilson bridge. i think this is about half-way between baltimore and frederiscksburg.
On the north side of Baltimore, take the White Marsh exit on 95 (it looks like exit 67 from what I can tell on googlemaps). There's an indoor mall on one side which has a carousel in the food court, an outdoor "town center" across the street, IKEA (one of the most kid-friendly places ever), as well as a few stripmalls right off the exit. I grew up around there, and it's rather safe for the Baltimore area. It should be about 1.5 to 1.75 hours from Philly and then another 2-2.5 hours to Fredericksburg (depending on traffic, of course).
Avoid the Travel Plaza right before the Baltimore toll at all costs (not safe/kid-friendly).
I would second National Harbor as a "southern" location.
Oh, and there is also an IKEA at College Park right at the 95/495 split.
