UPDATE #2: N/T scan this afternoon :-)

I haven't seen Little Bean in nearly four weeks, so I really hope all is ok.  I have been having very mild pregnancy symptoms, but the ones I do have have been persistent, so I'm pretty confident that something has been cooking in there!  I am very nervous for the results of the scan, though.  If you have some spare T&Ps to share with my Little Bean, I would greatly appreciate it!

UPDATE:  Within a few minutes of me posting this, I went to the bathroom and saw that I've started spotting very, very lightly.  I am so upset and freaked out.  My doctor can't get me in any earlier than my original 4:20pm appointment.  Why is this happening to me? 

UPDATE #2: First of all, I can't express to you all how overwhelmed I am by all of the support and good vibes I have received from all of you wonderful women.  I'm literally in tears.  I hope my Little Bean can feel all of the good vibes coming his/her way from out in the world!

Secondly, your T&Ps must have worked, because Little Bean is absolutely perfect!!!!  The tech who did my sonogram found the heartbeat immediately, and it was nice and strong - she said she literally saw no problems whatsoever, and that her initial thoughts on the nuchial fold was that it was right within the range it should be.  The skull is there, containing LB's little brain, and we saw the four chambers of the heart, as well as the bladder and all of the little fingers and toes (I actually could count to make sure they were all there!!!!)  And the even better news is that we pinpointed the source of the spotting - a tiny little polyp on my cervix that is disintegrating.  The spotting is now brown and very, very light, and the doc said this is actually a good thing because if it goes away now, it won't have a chance to get bigger and cause stress on me later. 

So that's the scoop, my friends.  Thank you again for all of your warm and reassuring thoughts.  I am going to go put my feet up for the rest of the night, and I will be back tomorrow to be there for you all the way you've been there for me.

Oh dear!  I am so sorry that things aren't just easy and textbook.  Can you take the rest of the day off before your appointment?  Sounds like you could use a place to put your feet up.  Sometimes if people come in a little earlier, there is a small chance they can be seen earlier, I don't know if you want to try that or not...I am just hoping the time passes quickly for you so you can get some answers. (((hugs)))  Praying for you and your LO!

I really hope the spotting ends up being nothing to be worried about.  What timing though!  Ugh!  On the plus side, at least you already have an u/s scheduled and aren't scrambling to get in.

Ugh, so sorry to hear about the spotting   Fx all is okay for your little bean- but sorry to hear you have to wait until 4:20p!  I completely agree with other posters, leave work now & go rest.  Go in to the doctor early, hopefully they could get you in a bit sooner.  Also, I would tell the receptionist when you get in what has happened & how difficult your day has been (emotionally)- ask her to let you walk back to the nurse's station right when you get in- they will have a doppler & can get you a heartbeat to calm your nerves!  I'm sure they would be happy to do that for you
