Dust needed that dh can find a better working situation. His mom drove him to Houston yesterday afternoon (he fought for one more sick day and they gave it to him). Yesterday before he left, we were still holding him up so that he could walk to the bathroom, encouraging him to sit up to drink his shakes, etc. He's not in good shape yet. His still on the max. amount of pain killers. He rode to Houston with the chair reclined. I'm afraid today at work is going to make the healing worse for him. Every medical person we have spoken to says he needs at least another week of recovery before returning to work. His job is still saying 'no more sick days.' My brother, who is a vet, says when he does this surgery, he keeps the dogs in kennels for two more weeks for recovery. (Comparing dh to a dog, ha!).
Anyway, good thoughts for him to find another job. His mom is staying with him all week to drive him to and from work because he can't drive yet. Glad that she's here.
Re: nestie dust
Married and it feels so good!
Lots of dust for your DH. I thought my former corporate employer were cold-hearted as$holes but this is ridiculous. I wish there was something yall could do, like call the local news station to expose them for the asses they are but I guess that could hurt your DH's job situation. I hope you guys are documenting EVERYTHING!
Also what kind of work does your DH do? Maybe someone on here can provide some leads when they hear of something.
Our Family Blog
I'm still in shock that someone could do that someone else. Lots of healing dust and better job dust your family's way.

Ugh! This is just so awful, cookie! Lost of of dust for y'all and your DH. I've been thinking about y'all and how difficult this must be. I can't imagine how your DH is toughing this out.
His employer truly is despicable. Treating employees this way should be illegal.
SO glad your MIL is around to help out! Lots and lots of dust for him! I really hope that his boss sees how bad he is and lets him take some more vacation days.
**hugs** for you too!

Ugh. I hate that your DH's employer can't see the big picture here and have a little compassion.
I hope that your DH is able to find a better working situation soon. This is not an employer I would want to keep working for.
