I've been keeping a secret :-)
I'm a mommy! To Parker Owen born on April 22.
The story of how we were matched is in my blog, but in short, we were matched back in February. We decided to keep the match and the birth to ourselves and family and very close friends. The case was sensitive and we were fearful of what might/could happen.
Plus, our BM/BF were right here in NYS, so her 30 revocation period ended last night! It is SO great to finally "come out" and share my news with you all!
To you all who are waiting - i know so many have said it before, but keep the faith. I know the road seems endless and bumpy at times. We waited 18 long months. I will say with 120% certainty, Parker is the baby that is meant for us and so are his birth parents. As we started living through the match, everything that happened made so much sense. Having YOUR baby is SO worth the wait.

LOL! It was SO hard. 30 days absolutely sucked! In our heart of hearts, we were pretty confident that they would not revoke, but after being at the hospital and seeing them break down and have a hard time with surrender paperwork, we just felt a bit uneasy. We decided it was best for everyone involved to keep it private.

History of IF and 2.5 years TTC. The day we were to start our first IUI we received a call that changed our lives forever and 10 month old Olivia joined our family. Shortly thereafter we got a surprise BFP and baby 2 is due July 5, 2012

TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!

A dear friend found it at a local boutique here even before we were active, while we were working on our home study. I bet you could have someone make it for you though like through Etsy. I put him in it all the time! I love looking at him in it.
