I am hoping that this is the right place to ask this question.  On May 9th, I had my first FET and last Tuesday and everyday since then I have gotten a BFP on FRER and a digital.  Well on Friday I was in a car accident and the ER checked my betas.  They came back at 31 which made me very nervous, but everyone assured me is was still very early.  Then I had them rerun today and it was only 16.5.  The RE is running them again on Wednesday just to make sure because the original were done at another lab, but they are not very optimistic. So, I guess my question is, has anyone had Betas that went down and then went back up?  I had a lot in March 09' and really can not believe that this could be happening again.

I know this is not what you wanted to hear, but I have never heard of a beta going down and then up. I suppose it's possible that the first lab made an error, but even so, I'm pretty sure your level should be higher than 16 a week after your BFP.

But I'm no doctor, so don't lose hope until you hear the official word. I'm sorry you're in this limbo, it really sucks. ((hugs))

I haven't heard of a situation where numbers fall and then rise, but my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
