Best time turns into the worst

So last Tuesday we found out via HPT test that we got pregnant after our first IVF cycle.  Then on Friday morning I was hit and brought to the hospital.  So while I was there, they tested my betas and they came back at 31.  The number made me a little nervous, because it seemed though, but everyone assured me it was still very early.  So today I want to the RE for a 2nd beta and it came back at 16.5.  I am just devastated :(  I can not believe this is happening after everything that we have been through to this point.  I do not understand why somethings are so easy for people and so difficult and heartwrenching for me.  The RE is having me come back on Wednesday to recheck them becuase the original ones were not done at their office.  They are telling me that they are not confident that they are going to go up, but they want to check.  So till then I am still on my meds.  At this point, I just wish I could stop everything and crawl into a hole.  I am not sure how to deal with another loss :(

    I am so sorry. I have been where you are now and know that feeling too well. A friend of mine is having the same issue at the moment. I just want to take her pain away but know that little can be done. Again, I am so sorry.

    i am so so sorry..i just went through the same exact thing 3 weeks ago...however it was my 2nd attempt at IVF...there are no words to describe the pain...the sadness...the anger...the frustration....etc
