Pregnant after a Loss

Just when . . .

I start to feel a tiny bit more secure about this pregnancy and the fear starts to slip away spotting returns!  GRRRRRR!  So frustrating!  Last night I had about a nickle sz of dark brown blood on my clothing and then after that it was brown tinge when I wiped.  Still today only when I wipe and just tinge brown but I hate that this happens about every other week it seems!  No cramping, m/s strong this am and boobs still hurt like holy heck.  Doctor didn't seem concerned.

I think maybe I might of over did it this weekend (beautiful 80 degree weather)outside and I need to majorally re-evalute my activities and make sure I am getting lots of rest and fluids.

All weekend I was so excited to be a raspberry on Sunday and I was feeling good about everything and then fear/depression kicked in so fast Sunday evening once the spotting started!  My . . . oh my!!

  • (((Hugs)))  Every time I overdid it in first tri I spotted, so overdoing it can be the cause.

I'm so sorry you started spotting - that is really scary.  I hope that it stops soon and you can enjoy the next couple of months in relative calm.  ((HUGS))

  • I had spotting a lot around the point you're at too.  There are a bunch of us here that had 1st Tri spotting and have squirmy babies in our utes still. Its good that the other symptoms are still hurting like heck.

  • I had the same thing happen to me about a week ago.  My mom came over with a ton of plants for our yard.  I haven't told her yet about pg.  So I was digging holes, raking etc. Sure enough the next day I had light brown spotting.  Once I rested and drank a ton of water, it went away.

Still, it is hard not to be worried.  Just take it easy.

SCH?  At my 6 week u/s the tech showed an area of a small pool of blood that she said was more than likely from implantation.  She didn't say much more about it or that it was a huge area of concern but she didn't refer to it as an SCH but is it considered the same thing?  Maybe that is what is causing the spotting because EVERY little bit I have is nothing pink or red it's all old blood!  Can these get even larger in sz and cause problems?  I didn't get much info on this when at the appointment she didn't say much about it.  Were you having a lot these same spotting issues too?

    Sorry for the million questions!

(((Hugs)))  It is always scary to spot, even if it is brown.  I hope you are taking it easy today and that the spotting does not return.
