Another FB question

Can you tell if someone denied your friend request? On their page is says friend request sent will it say that forever if they denied it?

    If it says Friend Request Sent, they've ignored it. 

    If they deny it, there is no notice.  The option to Friend them is there again.

    <---- feels like a loser. I have to learn how to deal with rejection. I friended someone I was really close to before moving to Austin. We kinda had a falling out because I couldn't make her wedding and some stuff ex said. I wanna be friends again but at the same time I need to follow what I would tell my 7 year old. "If she doesn't want to be your friend then it's her loss."

    Don't worry about it - I still have a hard time dealing with the loss of a friend that refuses to communicate with me anymore.  I friend requested her on two separate occasions...and sent FB messages with a "hey can we bury the hatchet" type message.  I never heard back from her either time.
