I like smashed avocado or hummus (homemade, since I'm also allergic to tahini). But what about something like vegenaise? I bet you could get it at a whole foods or equivalent.
since we don't use mayo at all since it contains milk and soy. I actually steam cauliflower and puree it for a long time until i get the consistency. I add some seasonings and sometimes flour to thicken it a little.

Someone also told me to add avocado's into the puree but i haven't tried that yet
We use Naoynaise and Vegenaise. I prefer the taste of Naoyanise, but our local grocery store only carries Vegenaise. I am not a big mayo person, so I don't really notice a big difference.
