DD?

Did the person asking about DE delete?   I didn't answer because I couldn't add anything that hadn't already been said.

Re: DD?

  • I missed the post.  What was the question about?
  • As best as  I can remember, PAP offered a situation with ababy exposed to meth and amphetamines.  She wanted info.  I think Mrs Kolasa answered with a "you never know/talk to a ped" answer.  I came back to see if anyone else weighed in, the post was gone

  • Seems like a strange DD.  Oh well, maybe she wasn't comfortable with so much information out there.  I hope she didn't take MrsK's response as snarky; I'm certain it was anything but.

Totally not.  I probably made it sound like it because I was trying to be concise.  I just worry about people who post and DD.  I don't want them to get their feeling hurt over nothing and not come baqck KWIM?

  • Yeah, it's gone.

I really wasn't being snarky. Just said that there is no right/wrong answer since everyone is open to different things. Call a pedi, blah blah blah. Standard answer for those types of questions.

To the poster of the original question- I'm sorry if you were offended or anything. None was intended, it's just whatever you are ok dealing with. I really do wish you the best.

  • I please know that I wasn't saying I thought you were snarky.  I know you are never that way at all!

I just was wondering if that's the way the poster took it.  I've just seen people get upset when asking a question and the response is "you should call your doctor/social worker."  It's like they think we are telling them their question isn't right for the board or something, rather than that it varies by case and location/severity.

Oh no, I didn't think that. Just clarifying. :-)

I think that probably was the issue. She probably thought I was trying to brush her off, but I wasn't at all. That was the only answer that makes sense. Given how few details she gave in her OP, that was the best any of us could do.
