Whiny vent: I'm still sick

My flu-like symptoms turned out to be strep throat. I'm still on antibiotics for it. I've been puking off and on since Friday. If I'd been having sex, I'd be POAS right now, because frankly it feels like m/s. I am so tired of feeling sick.

Mike thinks I need to go to the doctor, but I don't want to spend $25 to hear that it's a virus and I need to wait it out. That, and lately my children have this weird reaction to being in a doctor's office, and they generally respond by freaking out, climbing on everything, bouncing up and down a lot, and making a lot of loud, disruptive noises that result in the nurse and doctor both looking at me like I'm a terrible mother.

If anyone has had a stomach bug lately, please tell me how long it lasted for you.

Strept throat can cause vomiting but you've been on antibiotics so that should be gone, right?  Could you be reacting to the antibiotics?

I'm so sorry;(  I'd wait it out until you've finished your antibiotics, then see the doc.  or maybe you can just call and they'll help you?

I'm pretty sure I had strep two weeks ago, it was a total suckfest.

I'm sorry.    I've never vomited with strep and I get strep throat A LOT.  If you're still puking tomorrow, I'd go see the doc.  5 days of puke = no good.  (And you could always POAS for good measure!  )

I'm pretty sure pregnancy would require sex, and I haven't really had any of that lately. Lots of stress and not in the mood.

If you're still having stomach issues tomorrow I would go in and get checked. The strep should be better after a couple days on anti-biotic. I would have thought a bug would be gone by now. DD had what we thought was a bug and was throwing up for 4-5 days. Turns out she had a really bad double ear infection that was messing with her and causing her to throw up. She had to have anti-biotics shot directly into her.
