Stroller Clips

This may be a dumb question, but I'm having a hard time figuring out what I would need stroller clips for.

How do you use them? My stroller is a double handle stroller so I was planning on hanging my diaper bag off of one of the handles if I had to. Is this a bad idea?

They look handy, but our stroller has a big basket underneath so we have never had a need for them.  I would caution against leaving the stroller unattended with your bag hanging on the handle, though, as I've seen lots of them tip over from the weight.

I LOVE mine. We have the super large carabiner clips (like this: https://www.insidethecamp.com/content-product_info/product_id-2537/coghlans_large_biner_carry_handle_carabiner.html) though that we use on ours. They are a Godsend. But yes, be careful about hanging too much on there because if what you hang weighs more than baby, the stroller will tip. I like them for my purse.

 

ETA: I had a few sets of the plastic ones and they always broke when we would put the stroller in the car so we got the durable ones.

I bought a pack of 2 when DD was in her stroller. Was handy when shopping to put bags on. We have them on a regular stroller with a basket, so didn't need them all the time.

My one friend recommended to me that I get at least one.  The one I picked is called the "Mommy Hook" from BRU.  I'm sure you can find them any where, I just scanned it while I was doing my registry.  She loved them for when she went shopping to hang her bags on the back.  That way she didn't have to rearrange everything in the basket when she needed the diaper bag/her purse or whatever she kept down there.

They came with my diaper bag, but today I was watching the newborn channel at the hospital and it said not to use them.  It can make the stroller heavy at the back and cause the stroller to flip or tip.  I'd never thought of that before.
