I wanted to check in with you about your IL's house fire. Are they settled into temporary housing? Is insurance being good about getting the ball rolling on restoring their house? How are they holding up? Were you able to come up with a way to help them like you wanted?

TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
Re: Bloom2Be
Thank you for thinking of me/them! They were able to get an apartment rented to them through their insurance and have already gotten the entire house cleaned out and will be starting the renovations soon. Their insurance has been pretty good about everything so far and they are holding up ok. They came over for a visit this weekend (that was planned pre-fire) and it was good to see them and they seemed to be alright although my FIL said his hand is still pretty sore (and it's still bandaged).
I haven't found any way to really 'help' yet. I found some food delivery places and told my MIL I wanted to do that and she didn't want me to (they never want to accept help or anything from us kids ... even though they are always giving us all stuff/help). So I'm not sure what we are going to do .. I think we are going to all pitch in and get FIL a new flat screen tv once they move back in though.
Have you thought of maybe getting them something that would be a touch of home for their apartment? Something to just make it feel more homey - like a plant or a throw blanket or a family picture or something like that?
My parents had a house fire about 10 years ago, and it was hard for them to accept help, too, so I understand.
Flat screen TV sounds awesome!
I'm glad to hear that things are moving. I think, for us, when things weren't moving it feel kind of hopeless, but as long as someone was there doing something, we were able to keep our spirits high.
I hope your FILs hand gets back to 100% soon.
Thanks for the update.
