Pregnant after a Loss

**Izabella**

I saw opallover called you out earlier today and I didn't want to butt in, so I figured I'd start my own.  (I read all about your guys' garden plans and they sound really good.  (Just put my pepper plants in yesterday.  I grew them from see, but they look just awful.)

But I digress, I wanted to let you know that I was thinking about you this weekend and sending you tons and tons of good thoughts and hoping that the spotting finally stopped.  I see that you had your blood draw and hope you have fantastic numbers (even better than 2,000) so you can get that u/s this week!  Let us know when the numbers come in.

  • Thanks for all the good juju, it seems to be working ... I've been a full day w/ not spotting so far so my fingers are crossed that it continues that way. I'm hoping my numbers will be back this afternoon and I can get a u/s scheduled. I hope the nurse is good and lets us take a peek this Friday but we'll see... she was kind of funny when I mentioned it so who knows. Next week Dh and I are on vacation so that would be good too b/c we wouldn't have to get away from work which always arouses suspicion... but I'm pretty antsy to get the first look and see how we're doing.

How are you doing? When do you have your next check? I hope the SCH is shrinking crazily and your LO is taking up all that space!

And it is HARD growing stuff from seed! My dad does it and he does pretty well but I have never really had any luck with it. I'm fortunate that I live 5 min from an Agway that sells seedlings individually so I experiment w/ different varieties quite a bit. I'm trying 2 new paste tomatoes this year and I just got my serrano peppers for salsa. Its still really cold here but I left them all outside last night and they looked ok this morning so hopefully I'm getting them hardened off so they can go in the ground this weekend! I love just smelling the plants.... they make me hungry for summer garden fare!

I am so happy that you stopped spotting!  That's fantastic news!  I'll keep the juju coming!  I'll be lurking around this afternoon and tomorrow to see those awesome numbers when they come in.  Smile  I hope the nurse cuts you some slack and can squeeze you in this week (even though it does raise the eyebrows of co-workers when ditching the office for an hour or so).  I've been lying through my teeth these last couple of weeks and I'll be fibbing yet again for my appt next Tuesday - oh well, it's for a good cause - right?

I'm doing well.  I didn't really take it super-easy this weekend - we're did tons of stuff in the yard this weekend - did tons of planting (veggies and flowers), put in a drip watering system for all of the new stuff, moved around mulch, fluffed up the old stuff.  It was lots of work - and DH took care of the heavy lifting - but I was still pooped.  I haven't had any more spotting (woo-hoo!!!) and no pains or cramping so I'm really hoping that I'm absorbing the SCH.  We'll know more next Tuesday at my 8 wk appt - so I just have to sweat it out until then.

I've also learned that growing from seeds suck!  The problem is - sometimes they take off like weeds, then I have a surplus of plants.  Or, like this year, everything dies and I have to go to the store and buy plants.  I think I might skip it next year and just get the plants.  We got some really cool corn this year - it's sweet corn, but it's bright red!  I can't wait to see what it looks like (FX that it grows).

  • I'll take all the good juju I can get! I'm hoping to get the # back today, if she doesn't call me by 10 I'm going to harass them. I'm anxious but hopeful for a u/s appt.  And its definitely lying for a good cause. Ugh FH coworker said something about me being pg in front of everyone this morning... she doesn't know and I have no idea wtf prompted that but I covered myself pretty well I think. I am happy she is leaving tomorrow and not returning. She's beyond obnoxious anyways and there is no way I would tell her even if we were sharing right now.

Wow you were busy this weekend! I'm so glad the spotting is gone!!! Yay!!! And I hope the SCH continues to shrink down to nothing! Sending you good juju back for next weeks appt! Its hard to wait between appts or blood draws. I'm always in this flux of not knowing whether is more stressful to have more interventions or to let it be... depends on the day.

Yeah I hear ya with the seeds. There is some stuff I do from seed no matter what but I gave up starting them indoors... mostly b/c my cat ate the plants and i was VERy peeved. Plus I never do it early enough and I forget to water them. Meh. I like to try lots of different stuff each year so I use that as an excuse.  Red sweet corn? Sounds very cool!!  Corn is my Dh's favorite thing to grow so we always end up w/ a ton. Ugh I wish the weather would cooperate, I want to get in the dirt already!
