I've been up all night coughing.
I tried some of little dude's stuff, but nada. Then I tried some straight up honey and it worked! But then when I woke up at 4, I took more, but it didn't do anything.
*sigh*
help! I need sleep. Oh and my coughing this morning woke the kiddo up. no cool.
Re: nbr: What do you take for a cough?
I feel your pain. Last week I was in middle of the night hell, so I found the magic bullet. Mucinex D + Cepacol Lozenges. Between the two you get an expectorant and a decongestant (in Muc D), and a sore throat number and cough suppresent (in the Cep Lozenge). For future reference, both are pregnancy safe.
The decongestant is important when you sleep, because there is drainage from your nasal area to your lungs while you are lying down, and a cough suppresent is no match for all that junk.
Ricola cough drops are saving me right now. That and honey with a bit of lemon mixed in.
