Bug Spray.....?

What do Pedi's recommend? Poor DS got 4 little bites on his face this weekend from those small black fly things.

I have seen California Baby Bug Spray at Target, Has anyone tried it?

    We went golfing yesterday and used something from Burt's Bees. It's all natural so I liked that, no skin reactions, and not a single bite.

    My pedi said to definitely use something with DEET, but only a small amount (like ~10%). Here is some info fro the CDC on insect repellants (scroll down to the section on children). It says that the APA is fine with DEET as long as the child is over 2 months old. We have been using Cutter, which has about 7% I think.
