I guess I'll introduce myself. I'm Kelly. I'm 21 and 7 1/2 weeks pregnant. (unplanned) Technically, I'm not single. I do have a boyfriend, but everything is uncertain at this point. We've only been dating just over 3 months and I've only lived in the state a short amount of time longer than that. My boyfriend lives at the Olympic Training Center here in town. Training for the olympics is pretty much his life so he wasn't excited when he found out I was preg. and even less so when I decided that I was going to keep it. He won't talk to me about it and changes the subject whenever I bring it up. He told me he wasn't going to make me do this alone, but I'm not really sure how much faith I have in him. Even if he does stick to his word, he travels to different countries months out of the year. He won't even be home till a month after the baby is born. It's all kind of scary and I guess I'm just looking for some support, advice, or what ever kind of feedback you ladies have to offer.

Good luck! Just remember that you can do it on your own if he chooses not to be involved. Don't try to force him, because it will just make things more stressful for you. Once the baby is born make sure to get child support orders taken care of so you will at least have financial help.

I'll have to learn how the child support stuff works. He doesn't really have a job besides the olympics and he doesn't get paid much for what he does so I'm not really sure what I would be getting if anything at all.
