So I've been working out and watching what I eat and I'm still hanging on to these last 7 lbs. Been feeling pretty down about the way I look. I'm afraid to admit that I've fallen into the frumpy mom look. Pair of jeans and a loose top that doesn't hug me in all the wrong places. I can't remember the last time I felt confident in what I was wearing and I need something to boost this weight loss process.
Has anyone tried any sort of diet supplement and/or cleansing product? I always said that I think they are for lazy people but these days I'm about to try anything. Just wanted to bounce the idea off of you girls to see if anyone has tried any pill, etc and if you had success with it.
Re: Diet boost...?
Just the other day I started taking bee pollen pills. Its a chinese herbal thing. I've heard so many good things about it. A few people I talked to said you lose an average of 10 pounds a month even without doing anything extra to help. I just ordered my 30 day shred so hopefully this weight comes off in no time. But to warn you about these pills, they also are a cleanser. You will spend lots of time in the bathroom, bu so far so good. They don't make me feel funny and my appetite has gone way down.
I drink a ton ton ton of tea and walk a lot too. That and DD takes SO much energy that I'd be surprised if I wasn't practically dragging myself around the house by 6pm. She takes a lot to be entertained. I swear, swollen pregnant feet were NOTHING compared to this girl.
That being said, walking in the evenings when it's cool would be a great way to get fresh air AND exercise :-}
I can't get my tops to fit, so I gave them to my baby sis...actually I did that when I was pregnant knowing I wouldnt be in them again lol
I have a ton to lose still and nothing fits! I am still wearing some maternity clothes =(
I have been working out everyday and taking Vitamin D supplement and a fiber supplement glucomannan. Both are supposed to help aid in weight loss/appetite control but I haven't really noticed a difference. I have been using spark people and logging in what I eat. I'm trying to stay at 1200 calories and exercise daily. I have to say I expected it to come off much faster. It is hard not to get discouraged since I was in fairly good shape before. Im afraid I may never wear my size 2 jeans again but I cannot seem to part with them quite yet.
Edit to add if you find anything let me know! I know there is no quick fix but if i could just see some results it would help motivate me to keep working harder. When I work out and eat well and then gain weight I get discouraged. Then there are days I totally cave and eat ice cream or something and then lose weight..go figure!
