Rolling

Anyone have a LO who has no interest in rolling? Ty will sit up, stand, arch his back and push himself with his legs off his play mat, kick, grab his feet but has no interest in rolling over.

Re: Rolling

  • That's how DD was.  Then out of the blue, she rolled over.  She's only done it three times total so far.

This. Her father said she did it once but I don't believe him lol.

  • It will happen! It just happened out of the blue for DD this week. My DS rolled a few days shy of his 4 mo mark, so DD is just a little earlier than him.

  • We are a couple weeks behind you - but yes, my LO also has no interest in rolling yet.  She'll go on her side, but doesn't even try to go beyond that.

  • DD figured out how to roll about two weeks ago. She can do tummy to back, though she doesn't do it consistently. She's done back to tummy twice in her sleep but we have her on a slight incline which may have helped her. Before this she literally had no interest, it happened all of a sudden.
  • Yes! DD will be 4 months this week and has no interest. She will go on her side, but hates being on her stomach so I don't think she has any interest in rolling over. Plus she likes to see what's going on in the world so she would much rather play in her exersaucer or jumper than lay on the floor. Pedi said some kids just aren't into it, so I quit worrying about it.

  • C can get up on his side, but can't figure out how to roll past the arm in front of him yet.

  • Lucas has been rolling for awhile now, but it seems like it's just on accident. Lately he's been getting stuck on his side.
