We are headed to a wedding in Atlanta soon. The wedding itself is smack dab in the afternoon. The reception is outside in the evening. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to dress. Should I treat it as an afternoon wedding even though the reception is in the evening? How should DH dress? Suit with coat? Finally, where's a good place for me to shop for a nice dress? I don't want to spend a ton - $100 tops.
I was the BEST mom....until I became a mother.

I got this dress for a wedding in July....the picture doesnt do it justice
Go to macy's with a coupon. They have seriously about 100 different little black dresses there. Get a nice one and you will look great, and can definitely be done for less than 100. I just did for a wedding. They have so many different styles and fits, you can't go wrong with it. Esp, since there is an evening reception.
Just saw about your husband, that is tougher, but I would say suit if there is an evening reception. Better to be over, than under dressed.
Is there no mention on the invite? I am assuming evening reception wouldn't be casual, but where is it being held? Is there dinner and dancing, etc? That would help for both of you.
