I had my little guy on Thursday (scheduled c/section), he's great, I'm recovering great and I'll head home tomorrow. The 3 year old and 15 month old visited me here in the hospital a few times for only 45 min- 1 hour each time and it was ALREADY complete chaos. Hoping that once we get home everyone will be a little more settled down without the new surrounding and buttons to push...
I'm super nervous what awaits me when I get home...any good multi-tasking tips to pass along or things I may not have thought of to help with the 15 month old? She's the one we're worried about...
THANKS!
Re: Officially part of the club! 2 u 2 with a 3-year-old
If you have a big gate that is big enough to block in the room that you will be feeding your new baby in, it would be very helpful.
I blocked Natalie in the living room with me while I fed Dominic. I knew she was safe, she could play or cuddle with me and I didn't have to worry that she was going to get into anything unsafe!
Oh and congrats! It takes time, but a routine will emerge.
