Hi ladies...
I took a 3 month hiatus from the boards, but am glad to find many familiar names out there on this board.
It looks like there have been a lot of ups and downs for some ladies that I've gone through this IF process with over the last year. For all the "ups"...I'm so happy for you all. It looks like this heart wrenching road has lead to your baby (or soon to be). For the ladies that have had a difficult time lately. I'm so sorry and hope that you are finding your way to being a mother one way or another.
I have had some incredible discoveries and steps in my own process. After deciding to move onto adoption, I continued to see my RE since we had 2 embies left. (Our plan was to move full force w/ adoption and maybe in a year or two move on with our final FET) During a routine monitoring us..my nurse discovered that I had an arcuate uterus. I was speechless that at the time I thought I was truly moving on...they found yet something else that would keep me going with the IVF process. The only thing that motivated me to look into this further was that she said that sometimes having this "dip" in the uterus causes for a poor lining. As many of you may remember, this was my biggest hurdle. So, because of that I am continuing to see my RE and have a procedure schedule for the end of June to "fix" this dip.
What I am most excited for is our current steps in adoption. I have my Homestudy scheduled in less that two weeks! We have spent the last 3 months deciding on our agency, getting finger printed, physicals, completing questionaires and applications. We are very happy with our decision to adopt and can't wait until our profile is active and we get matched!
I wish nothing but the best for you ladies! I can't wait to check out this board to see how you have all been!
