Re: waterproof mattress pad?

  • I bought the one that matched our mattress.  It is in the crib right now, waiting on its pre-baby wash.

  • I did, or at least I think DH shot it with the gun (I forgot to double check).  I had a dizzy spell at that point in the store so he was shooting alone in the sheet and mattress section.

  • My mattress is in a waterproof shell, but I still registered for a 4 pack from Wal-Mart.. that's something I think is pretty essential & I'll use through the toddler years (have a convertible crib).

  • yes! and I would register for multiple - they are essential unless you want a peepee'd on mattress :)

  • I just added two to our registry after reading this post.

One to have in there and one to have in the wash if need be.  I can see lots of leaks and spit ups happening.

  • it is a MUST have. my son is in a twin bed now and we still have a waterproof cover on his mattress. just last night it came in very handy. i would get two if i were you.
