self-tanners?

Are there any self-tanning sprays or lotions that are safe to use when you are pregnant? I need some COLOR!!

Not too sure.  I used to work at a tanning salon in college and anything we carried with DHA was not safe when pregnant or breastfeeding.

I use Mary Kay self tanner. My OB said it was okay....

I got a spray tan. I hope that is safe.

My Dr. told me to avoid self tanners. She said while there is no evidence that it's harmful, there's not enough to say it's safe. She said if it's not a necessity, why risk it? You might get a different answer from your OB though. Can't hurt to ask.

This is how I feel about it.  Anything you put on your skin is absorbed.
