Need some new ideas

How do you keep your LO entertained all day?  I need some new ideas b/c I think DD is getting bored around the house especially this past week since it rained everyday. I'm going to look into joining a gym class with her once a week....I'm getting bored myself.

    We go to Petsmart to buy catfood and look at the fish, birds, mice, rats and hamsters. It is our own free zoo....

    We have awesome toddler areas at our public libraries, You can go for storytime or just go to play. They have a gated area with a mini-kitchen, slide, market area and other toys.

    Gymboree?  Even if you don't want to take a class, they have open gym times.

    Going anywhere can be fun if you point stuff out.  She can start learning letters at this age.  Start pointing out letters and numbers and signs.  She can start to recognize a stop sign for instance.

    Staying home can be fun if you let her play with different things, like dry rice in a bowl and some measuring cups. 

    Stay at home mom to a house of boys: two amazing stepsons, 12 and 9, and our 4 year old.
