I haven't read through the other responses, but when I had my M/C, it was like a super-duper heavy period and it was physically quite painful.  I know for some people the physical pain is negligible, so that may or may not be something for you to expect.  For me, it was enough that I was really glad for the narcotic painkillers the doctor prescribed, and I have a pretty high tolerance for pain.

Ditto smb on the emotional aspect.  The hormonal changes were the hardest part for me.  :::hugs::: take care.
