Hopefully DH will not have to work and I can talk him into going to the zoo splash pad with DD and I. Other than that, we need to go to the grocery store and replenish the hurricane kit - fun.
Not a lot. Grilling, sleeping late, watching Mavericks playoff basketball, giving DD an awesome dollhouse for no good reason =?, watching Waiting for Superman, and seeing my parents. Pretty ideal - hope is meets its potential.
This has been a busy week, so I am looking forward to relaxing with H tonight
Tomorrow it is FINALLY looking to be a decent day, after a week of rain, so we will definitely be doing something outside.
Tomorrow night some friends and I are going to see Bridesmaids and then going out for a few beers at the bar down the street
Sunday our local civic association is having a "Picnic in the Park", with touch a truck, face painting, a moon bounce etc at the neighborhood playground. So hopefully it is a nice day for that as well
This is the first weekend in three weeks that we won't have to travel to Massachusetts and Maine in the same weekend. I can't even tell you how happy that makes me.
Tonight- nothing planned
Saturday- Gym for me and Parker has swim in the morning. In the afternoon we have a high school graduation party to go to.
Sunday- NOTHING!! Because we've been so busy the past couple weeks and the weather here has sucked this outside of our house is in some serious need of help. I'm sure we'll be outside for a long, long time and then see my dad for dinner.
My (second!) baby shower is Saturday mid-morning and then, DH is going to assemble the new swing and wash/detail my car. If we have sunshine, we'll spend our time outside, maybe smoke chickens on the bbq and just relax.
Tonight - watching a movie and drinking a bottle of wine once the kiddos go to bed.
Saturday - gyno appt (where I shall hopefully get some support in getting off hormonal bc because it's making me into a crazy devil-woman), then going up to my parents' house. They just got back from vacation and my mom is making sancocho, which I LOVE.
Sunday - zoo with my DH, kids, and 2 sisters. Not sure if my parents will want to come too.
I've had a hell of a week; I'm really looking forward to the weekend!
DH and I are going to watch our DVR'ed shows together in a few minutes.
Tomorrow, I plan to do some gardening, go to the grocery store and then DH and I are going to dinner and to see 'Bridesmaids'. We had this planned all week and then my husband lost his job today. He asked me if we should cancel, but the tickets are already paid for (I had a Fandango Groupon) and my sister is coming to watch Ben, so I figured we should still go. I think we're going to wind up somewhere cheaper for dinner though (Baja Fresh or Panera).
Sunday, we're taking Ben to get his hair cut and other than that, just do some things around the house.
Re-train my 8-month old baby to sleep (without nursing) (-sigh-...involves crying) then DH is doing loan work-weeding and things, bake cookies, go to the beach with DH, baby boy, dog(and me!) No driving up-north for my stepson or stepdaughter, no major things to do hopefully!!!
Re: Weekend Plans?
Nothing!
DH works shift work, so he works all weekend.
Hopefully HAVING THIS BABY
If not, I have a graduation party tonight (for an MBA for a grown man, not a kids thing) and a 50th bday party tomorrow if I am feeling up to it.
But hopefully, just HAVING THIS BABY

DH is out of town so it's just me and little man.
We stayed at the playground until 6:30 tonight - just got him in bed.
Tomorrow we are going to DH's cousin's house to play for most of the day, and have a few errands to run too.
Sunday we're meeting friends at the zoo. Can't wait!

With the exception of tonight, we have nothing planned and I am thrilled!!!
The last few weekends have been packed with stuff, it's nice to have a weekend off so I can work around the house for a while!
