My first beta at 14dp5dt was about 1200, then my second beta at 16dp5dt was about 3900. My nurse and doctor won't comment yet, and my 1st ultrasound isn't for another week, but I'm wondering if it could be twins? I know these numbers are really high for a singleton based on what I've found wandering around the web. I wish betabase was up because I've heard that's really helpful. I guess I'm really just trying to pass the time until my sono by over-analyzing everything I possibly can
Re: Beta question, esp twins
Some twin mommas had high betas, some twin mommas had lower betas.
Some singleton mommas had high betas, some singleton mommas had lower betas.
Can't tell by betas, but you could look at www.BetaBase.info to see what others have gotten with multiples and singleton pregnancies.
Just for information's sake, they stopped testing my beta levels at 11dp5dt. Prior to that, at 9dp5dt, it was 189 and at 11dp5dt, it was 560. I'm guessing if they kept testing, my numbers would have continued to climb.
And, we're pregnant with twins!
Good luck at your first u/s!

My betas were really high (I was right in the middle for twins on beta base) and we thought for sure there were going to be two in there...but sure enough, I'm only pregnant with one.
The u/s is the only real way to know...hope the wait goes quickly.
Betas for triplets are in siggy.
GL to you!
