Has anyone seen the movie Enchanted?

Someone recommended it for me and dd to watch together.  Is this a movie that my 5 year old (turning 5 next month) could understand and follow? Or would it be better for when she is a little older?

My girls watched it with me a few weeks ago when it was on Disney channel.  They understood most of it.  It confused them a little, but they liked it and liked the songs.  It's definitely different than a lot of "traditional" princess movies, but it was cute.  They still talk about it and have asked to watch it again...

All 3 of mine liked it.  Pretty sure my younger 2 didn't note that it is a spoof at all.

Okay thanks!  I want to find more "real" movies for my kids to watch.  We do family movie nights and I am looking for movies that I don't mind watching either.  With the real movies it is hard to tell if they would follow it or not.

I'm a dork and Enchanted is one of my faves . My boys have both watched it and enjoyed it, it's a nice one for us to watch together.

my dds - ages 3 and 6 - love this movie.  I never know what they get/don't get when watching movies, but it holds their interest.  I actually really like it too ;-)
