We have a 3 bedroom house.  One of the rooms is Reid's and the other is an office (dh works from home 1 day a week).  We will need the office for another bedroom (we're having a girl).  So I've been wracking my brain as to how we can keep dh on the main floor for the next 2-3 years while the kids will have lots of stuff to tote back and forth with them.  DH watches the baby when I need to run out for appointments.   

Oh and the office will eventually be in the basement (it's unfinished now).  SO, we will be keeping the baby in our room at first until she sleeps through the night.  Once she can go to her room we can move his work stuff (desk, computer) into our room.  That way he's still on the main floor.  He doesn't use the closet in the current office so I can put all her clothes in there.
