Hi,

If your twins share or shared a room, what color was your nursery and your cribs?  I am trying to get some ideas for the nursery.

The cribs are the white wood. and the nursery is "nana's smile" kind of an off white not quite beige. and i painted pink and blue polks dots on the wall. on his side they are blue, on hers they are pink, and on the walll where their dresser is, is pink/blue mix with their names painted above their crib. hope this helps.

The colors match really well and aside from bedding the decor is very simple and it ties it together well!

Our nursery is painted light yellow and the crib wood is a sandy oak color.  We did a "safari" theme and it's all very gender neutral.

Our nursery is painted a pale yellow (Paper Lantern by SW), and the cribs are off white.  It's decorated in a beachy style, with lots of pink, green, and blue accents.

Black and Lime Green and Black and Hot pink. Yes it will prob look like a huge watermelon in there but my mom and I are making all the bedding and the curtains so when we seperate rooms our little boy is moving and we can do his room a little more "manly" LOL!

They shared a room for the first 10 months because we lived in a 2 bedroom rental. We did Wizard Of Oz theme since I have a ton wall stuff. We had Preston's bedding blue like Dorothy's dress and Jordana's pink like Glinda's dress. Their cribs were espresso colors and the walls were cream color

the walls and ceiling are painted sky blue with clouds and we went for a "beach" theme with lime green and hot pink accents. Their cribs are white and dresser is black (because we just used one we already had).

I'm not done yet otherwise I'd post pictures, but our walls are grey and white wainscotting on the bottom. Our furniture is expresso. The accent colors and bedding are yellow and turquoise.

Here's ours, kind of! We like strong, fun colors... and wanted something more geared toward what they could grow into/grow with than a "nursery" that we'd have to give a makeover in a year. Our 2 1/2 year old definitely loves it! The only big thing missing right now is their names above their cribs, which we're doing this weekend! They'll have white crib skirts and white breathable bumpers too... and the fish above the dresser look a LOT different in person (I saw that picture and thought ew... too many bubbles! But in person it looks just fine )

Our nursery is painted "Hint of Mint" it is light green with a mural painted in the corner of a tree and pond. We went with a froggy theme. All of our furniture is hand me downs and nothing matches.

Cribs/dresser are cherry.  Curtains are yellow and green gingham (I bought a couple panels of each).  Crib skirts are yellow gingham.  Crib sheets are a variety.  We have some green striped, some green/white polka dot, some white, some yellow.  We didn't buy bedding because pretty much everything is un-usable except the skirt and sheets until they are older.  We have the yellow gingham bumpers for when they can use them.  We'll get a set when they get into toddler beds.  Changing pad cover is green polka dot.  Lamps are green with cherry base.  Walls are an off white.  

I basically wrote all that out to say their nursery is green and yellow  I did do pops of color though.  Pinks/purples on her side and blues/oranges, etc on his side. Here are their name letters to give you an idea...

The room was a green, and we used PBK plaid bedding (one was blue, one was pink). Both plaids had green accents to match the walls.

However, we moved them into different rooms because with my son's reflux and refusal to sleep those first few months, it just wasn't working to have them in the same room.

I don't really know what you call my 'theme'.  We have identical bedding for the boy and girl, but one is pink one is blue.  The girl has a white crib, boy has a brown...since the cribs are convertible...eventually they will have their own rooms and I just wanted our boy to have a dark wood for his furniture and the girl to have white.  The walls are neutral beige (this is because we plan on moving within the next year or two...so we really didn't want to have a big kiddie decal on the wall...just better for reselling purposes).  Overall, ours is fairly simple.

I really wanted a pink/blue color scheme, but I had THE hardest time finding coordinating bedding I liked.  I ended up getting it from PBK - they had a matching pink/blue set that I liked.  I saw one of their new catalogs, and they have a similar pink/blue coordinating set this spring, also.  Their bedding is such high quality.  I couldn't find a valance that matched, so I just went with PBK's white panel valance, and it looks great - very soft.  Their cribs are espresso, as is the dresser.  The wall is tan (we are renting, so couldn't repaint).  If I had it to do over again, I probably would have gone with white cribs to lighten up the room a little (if we could have repainted the walls).  But, the espresso will be nice for when the cribs convert to real beds.  I also had their names done in wooden letters, and picked a pattern off of their bedding to match.  DD's is pink w/ white polka dots and DS's is navy w/ small white stars.  It all came together nicely.

If you google Enchanted Forest Butterfly and Enchanted Forest Leaves - these are the fabrics we used to make the twin's bedding.  I loved the colors in DD's bedding and DS's coordinates with them - light blue, grayish color with brown and ivory accents.  I LOVE how they turned out!  Now I just wish they would actually sleep in their beds!  They are still sleeping on us in the recliner and couch...gotta love reflux.

What will be our twins' room is pale green, and the accents (crib skirts, curtains, wall hangings) will be a chocolate brown fabric with multicolored dots (turquoise and beige for the boy, pink and lime for the girl)... I think I am going to go with a sort of nature theme for some of the wall hangings.... that's the plan, but I still have a lot of work to do!

I haven't finished yet, but we're painting the walls "covington blue" by benjamin moore, which is a muted green/ blue. The bedding will be goa by rickshaw designs, which is an Indian print of blues and greens.  The rug, loveseat, and curtains will be neutral shades with lots of texture, and I will accent with some raspbery pink to bing in the feminine.  Our wood is all dark, ranging from cherry floors and cribs to mahogany.

We have the Munire Bristol set for Gabriella and her room is green and pink.  We have the Munire Rockport in Espresso for Brendan and his room is blue.  Both rooms came out great!
