NBR: poll about vendor party

I'm hosting a 31 party on a Sat in June and am having a hard time deciding on a time.  Since it's summer and people want to do stuff on the weekends I was trying to pick a time that wouldn't be smack in the middle of the day. (read: I want people to come so they order stuff so I can get a free bag!!!)  So if you got an invite to a vendor party, what time would make you more apt to come - 11am or 1pm.  If I did it at 11 I would have lunchish foods if that makes a difference. 

And if anyone wants to come, I'd be more than happy to invite you!!!!

I would say 11am, so I had the rest of the day for other stuff.

I guess either one would work for me. I'm leaning more towards 11, because like pp said, it still gives you the rest of the day.

I would do 11 over 1, but I always prefer the evenings when I go to parties like that. I just recently went to a 31 party and it started at 7. She had tons of snacks and finger sandwiches. Plus she had some fruity drinks and wine that was enjoyed by many!

Either one is good.

I would probably pick 1pm. That way I could try to find someone to watch DD during her nap and come, without feeling like I'm picking the party over spending time with her (WM's guilt issue).

This! Alcohol is always a good selling point.
